LinuxBot Terms of Service

By using LinuxBot ("the Bot"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Bot.

LinuxBot is a Discord bot that provides the following features:

• Media downloading from various platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest)
• AI-powered chat responses (when enabled)
• Image generation and analysis
• Audio/video transcription
• Server moderation tools
• Profanity filtering

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Bot
• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service
• You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms

You agree NOT to use the Bot to:

• Download, share, or distribute copyrighted content without authorization
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent the profanity filter for malicious purposes
• Spam commands or intentionally overload the Bot
• Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities or bugs
• Use downloaded content for commercial purposes without proper licensing
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Download content that violates the source platform's terms of service

• You are solely responsible for the content you download and share using this Bot
• The Bot merely facilitates downloading; it does not host or store content permanently
• Respect intellectual property rights of content creators
• Downloaded media should be for personal use only unless you have appropriate permissions

The Bot may collect and temporarily process:

• Discord usernames and user IDs
• Message content containing URLs
• Server/guild information
• Online status (for tracked users, if configured)

Data Handling:

• Downloaded files are temporarily stored and deleted after processing
• No personal data is sold or shared with third parties
• Message content is not permanently logged

• The Bot includes automated profanity filtering
• Server administrators can configure moderation settings
• Ban, kick, and mute commands are available to authorized users
• Moderation actions are logged for accountability

When AI features are enabled:

• Responses are generated by third-party AI models (Google Gemini)
• AI responses may not always be accurate
• Do not rely on AI responses for critical decisions
• AI-generated content should be verified independently

• The Bot is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime
• Service may be interrupted for maintenance or updates
• Features may be enabled/disabled at the operator's discretion
• External services (downloading sources) may become unavailable

• The Bot's source code and branding remain the property of its developers
• Downloaded content belongs to its respective copyright holders
• Users must respect all applicable intellectual property laws

We reserve the right to:

• Terminate or suspend your access without notice
• Block users who violate these terms
• Modify or discontinue the service at any time

• These terms may be updated at any time
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Major changes will be announced through appropriate channels

The Bot interacts with third-party platforms. Users must also comply with:
